GUEST SPEAKER: Registered Psychologist, Dr. Margaret Lambert, talks about the research study she did to investigate the effectiveness of EFT Tapping with Year 5 and 6 classes for reducing student anxiety, improving student wellbeing, and opening kids up to Social Emotional Learning in Primary School. In this interview she talks about:

  • why she decided to investigate the effectiveness of EFT Tapping with Year 5 and 6 classes during the school day. 
  • how she delivered a Social Emotional Learning lesson as a way in to teaching eight Year 8 and 6 Classes EFT Tapping.
  • the outcomes of doing two rounds of a 4-week EFT Tapping intervention in these classes.

In this video, Dr. Lambert walks you through her research paper and the outcomes from her study on the efficacy of EFT Tapping for reducing anxiety and improving wellbeing in the Year 5 and 6 classes she studied. ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr Margaret Lambert is a registered Psychologist currently working in New South Wales, Australia. A former school teacher and university lecturer, she spent most of her teaching working with indigenous Australians in the Northern Territory. Margaret has been an EFT Practitioner and Trainer for around 20 years. In the USA, she trained with Gary Craig, Carol Look, and Dr Joseph Mercola in a workshop conference EFT for Serious Diseases. In Australia, she has done Advanced Training with Steve Wells and Dr David Lake. She completed her PhD in Psychology in 2020, focusing on EFT in primary schools. Her thesis is titled: The Tapping Project: Introducing Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) to Reduce Anxiety and Improve Wellbeing in Primary School Students. Learn about Margaret’s services at: margaretlambert.com
