Little Sunflower helps children tap into wellbeing with Sarah Gilbert

Emotional Regulation Skills for Kids: Tapping in the Classroom for Ages 6-10

GUEST SPEAKER: Sarah Gilbert talks about how a character in her children’s books called Little Sunflower is helping children ages 6-10 to develop their emotional regulation skills.

As we know, student mental health problems can get in the way of a child’s ability to learn effectively and be happy in school. With the average age of mental health problems for children in the UK down to 14 (and getting lower), Sarah invites schools to ask themselves – why wait until children are older and have a mental health problem? Why not introduce emotional life skills programs into school as a preventative intervention in the early years?

A qualified teacher and EFT Practitioner, Sarah has combined her teaching and tapping skills and experience to create educational wellbeing programs for schools seeking to help curb the mental health problems that can get in the way of students’ ability to learn and socialize well.
