I’m part of the minority of IB Diploma teachers who’s done the IB Diploma myself. I ended my school journey with the IB Diploma program at the Anglo-American School of Moscow in 2004, after experiencing a diverse range of schools systems, from the perspective of a student.
As a little girl, I experienced the European School system (Brussels), British school system (Khartoum). As a teenager, I also experienced the American and international school systems (Moscow & Islamabad).
Fast-forward to 2018, and I’ve now trained 3,000+ learners (300+ of whom were IB Diploma candidates) myself in my work of being a classroom teacher, workshop leader, middle manager, and youth mentor over the last 10 years.
I’ve designed various educational training programs for parents and colleagues over the years.
And I’m here to be part of the solution of helping youth and all members of a school community take responsibility for their emotional well-being and emotional hygiene goals so we all do our part in moving from striving to thriving. I’m willing to work with like-minded people who care about helping to bridge the gap between the exam-heavy requirements pre-university programs in the mainstream education system, and the well-being work/life skills that youths need to thrive in the 21st century global economy.
